Tears of Appreciation

That is the way Sandra, a NARCOG Case Manager, described her clients’ reaction to a special delivery. Volunteers with Christ the Redeemer Lutheran Church were scheduled to do a few home repairs for one of our disabled clients as a mission project. When Pastor John Ninke did a walk-through of the home, he discovered that the dishwasher didn’t work. What a surprise when materials were delivered and there was a new dishwasher too! Our client was overwhelmed with the generosity of this group of 20 volunteers who donated materials, 80 hours of labor and a huge dose of love for a neighbor in need.
