Community Development Week

April 5-9, 2021 Declared Community Development Week
 
NARCOG provides community development services for small communities across the region. One of the key funding sources for projects is the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program.  Projects for communities like Falkville and North Courtland have resulted in funding for sewer, drainage and street improvements.  Community enhancement and planning projects such as the Falkville and Hanceville Downtown Improvement Plans were also made possible through the CDBG program.
 
Connecting communities to programs and resources like CDBG funding is just another way NARCOG is making a positive impact in the region.
