For over forty (40) years NARCOG has been serving this tri-county region and is continuously searching for additional ways to help improve the quality of life for its citizens.  We provide a variety of services to the three (3) county region – Cullman, Lawrence and Morgan Counties.

NARCOG is governed by a Board of Directors comprised of members from the various local governmental entities and their appointees.  The day-to-day operations are overseen by an Executive Director who reports directly to the Board.  NARCOG has an Executive Staff comprised of each Department/Program Director and Executive Secretary who assists the Executive Director in the day-to-day operations.  This group of individuals provides a variety of management and functional services to support the various programs and activities at NARCOG as well as direct services to our members.  These services are either supported by dues, paid for by the entity that is utilizing these services, various grants, or recovered from NARCOG programs through indirect cost rate as allowed by the state and federal governments.
